Hey, I’m Diljith.
I like solving tricky problems and making software easier to use.
Software engineer at Oracle. I work on backend systems, developer tools, and AI applications.
01 Experience
Building in the real world.
I work across system design, backend development, and AI-assisted developer tooling. At Oracle, I contribute to the Redwood Platform through infrastructure services and developer platform initiatives. My work spans real-time testing systems, AI applications, and platform-level architecture for enterprise applications. I care about practical architecture, maintainability, and product decisions that make complex tools easier to use.

From problem to platform.
eXpServer Tester
Co-developed a testing platform for an educational web server, with stage-based black-box validation, isolated execution, concurrent test runs, and live feedback.
Explore the case studyPageQuery
Co-built a Chrome extension that answers questions using the current webpage as context, connecting a browser interface to transformer-powered Python services.
View projectRapidRecap
Built a summarization application for text, documents, and YouTube content, connecting a transformer-based summarization service to a web interface.

The decisions matter
as much as the code.
A few lessons from building eXpServer Tester.
Evaluation students can trust
A passing test determines whether a student can progress to the next stage. We designed black-box checks to reduce false positives, looking beyond a successful response to whether the implementation satisfies the stage’s requirements.
Build once. Extend by stage.
We separated reusable test functions from stage definitions. This keeps the addition of stages and tests manageable without duplicating test logic or making widespread changes.
Centralize the operational work
We chose central hosting over individual installations to simplify use for teaching assistants. That choice made concurrent usage and shared infrastructure key architectural considerations.
